CO2 DECAFFINATED ENGLISH BREAKFAST|
Dimbula and Nuwara Eliya
4500 - 5500 FT
Orthodox/ CO2 Decaf
FP (FLOWERY PEKOE)
A full bodied flavory cup of tea tending bright - typically associated with its origin - Ceylon tea.
This decaffeinated tea is made with the C02 process. The advantage of this decaffeinating process is that no chemical solvents are used to remove the caffeine. There is a slight change in the character of the tea due to the process but the end result is an uncompromising cup of tea with no chemical overtones. We use a blend of various Ceylon teas for our decaff English Breakfast because we feel these teas give us the character we are looking for - flavorfull & satisfying tea. Also, we have found that Ceylon tea retains its character under C02 decaffeinating process much better than other origin teas.
