Dried apple pieces, hibiscus, elderberries, dried black currants, cornflower petals, cranberry, natural flavors
Herb and fruit tea in some circles is considered a new type of tea. The particular tea was specially formulated to acknowledge the great taste and known health benefits of blueberries. In addition to the antioxidants in the blueberries, hibiscus brings the added benefits of Vitamin A and C to the blend. Mountain Blueberry will accommodate the tastes of people who want to experience a refreshing healthy new style drink without caffeine. It is excellent hot as a hot drink and simply dynamite as a cold drink. You will want to add a pinch of natural cane sugar as this accentuates the natural flavorings and brings out the subtle tastes of the dried berries.
FOR HOT TEA:
Place 1.5 to 2 tsp. of tea per cup (and add 1 teaspoon for the pot) into the teapot. Pour boiling water into pot and let it steep for 5-7 minutes (or longer - the longer the steeping time to more intense the flavor becomes). Pour into a cup and add sugar to taste. **do not add milk - the milk will curdle due to the ingredients in this blend. Sugar is recommended as it cools
FOR COLD TEA:
*One Quart* Place 12-15 teaspoons into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Pour tea into serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and top up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
