If you like Cinnamon then you are going to love this herbal tea.Cinnamon is native to Sri Lanka, in fact the world's best cinnamon grows along the coastal strip near the capital city of Colombo. Cinnamon trees are cropped almost to the ground, resulting in a lowdense bush with leafy branches from which the best quills of the spice can be plucked.
A 200ml (7oz) of brewed Rooibos contain nutrients such as: Iron, essential for transport of oxygen in the blood, Potassium, Copper, Zinc, necessary for normal growth and development of healthy skin, Magnesium, Fluoride and Calcium both necessary for strong teeth and bones, Manganese and Sodium, both necessary for fluid and acid base balance.
FOR HOT TEA:
Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 teaspoon of tea for each cup into teapot. Add boiling water, cover and let steep 3-7 minutes. Add milk and sugar to taste. Acceptable to consume "Straight Up"
FOR COLD TEA:
*One Quart* Place 6 teaspoons in a heat resistant pitcher. Add 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water . Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with ice water. Add steeped tea and fill with ice water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
